First Day of School (abbrev. schedule)
Description
- Freshman Orientation (8:00 AM): The day kicks off in the auditorium with a warm welcome and overview from our administration and counseling teams. Freshmen will learn about NCHS, get their technology set up, and start building connections right from day one.
- Senior Breakfast (9:00 AM): Our seniors will gather at the front of the school near the flagpole and parking lot to enjoy one of their favorite "last-first" traditions: the Senior Breakfast! Complete with iced coffees, breakfast treats, lots of pictures, and fun lawn games, it is a wonderful way to celebrate the start of their final year together.
- Sophomore & Junior Arrival: For students in grades 10 and 11 who take the morning bus, the cafeteria will be open for breakfast and activities will be available. This is a great chance to relax and catch up with friends before classes begin.
- Abbreviated Class Schedule (10:00 AM): All students in grades 9 -12 will begin an abbreviated class schedule at 10:00 AM.
